Hi, my name is Shrita, and I’m the Founder and CEO of Together We Shine! Growing up, I witnessed firsthand the ignorance and lack of understanding directed toward individuals with special needs. As I entered high school and saw this issue become even more pressing, I knew I had to take action. Together We Shine was born out of a passion to not only create safe, inclusive spaces for children with special needs—but also to address the root of the problem: a lack of awareness and compassion among their peers. Through education, community events, and youth-led initiatives, we’re building a world where every child feels seen, valued, and supported. Come join us!
